Mastercard

This portfolio page I created especially for my AHREFS Podcast job application and will be removed very soon.

Context: How I work with Mastercard

  • I am a freelance copywriter hired by an agency
  • the agency sends me the brief of the campaign
  • I come up with 2-3 storylines (creative concepts) and the rationales behind
  • after client selects 1 creative concept, I develop deliverables (LPs, newsletters, social media, sms, radio…)

Examples:

Mastercard x Garanti BBVA

Mastercard x Kaufland x BCR (translation below)

Translation:

Turn Your Shopping Into Cash With Mastercard

“Professional buyers get more for their money” – Anonymous

Dear Client,

Now you can earn 5000 lei just by buying what you need around the house.

If you like the idea, you’re already thinking professionally.

How to proceed?

Pay between September 2 and October 15 in any Kaufland store with your Mastercard and you can win one of 10 Kaufland gift cards worth 5000 lei each.

That’s it!

Every transaction, regardless of value, gives you an extra chance in the draw, whether you pay with your physical Mastercard card or enrolled in your phone wallet.

Now you have 10 more reasons to pay with Mastercard.

P.S. We love working with professionals.

Mastercard x Kaufland

[The Newest Creative Concept approved by the client, soon to be LIVE]

At Kaufland freshness comes with a prize
Pay with Mastercard and you can win one of the 10 x 5000 lei gift cards from Kaufland.
Rationale:
I introduced a controversy – usually people are incentivized to buy more quantity, B-grades or things they don’t necessarily need.
This time is a double win: freshness & a prize (comes with a prize not with a price)
If usually extra benefits come with extra costs, this time comes with added value (the chance to win a prize)
